Between 1914 and 1945, approximately 90 Million people died in the World War. This period destroyed the old world order, devastated large swathes of Europe and Asia, and left the United States as the only world power untouched. War shaped the way that people viewed the world, it left an indelible mark on our popular culture, and shifted global power relationships.
We had planned to open this course up to community members, but that will not be possible this semester. Community members may still take part in the course online though. Click on the various links to listen or watch the lectures at your leisure.
The course meets from 6:35-9:45, so if you would like to watch this live, contact me at [email protected], and I will send you a link prior to class time that will allow you to watch along with the students in the classroom. Lectures will usually last around 50 minutes.
You do NOT have to take the exams!
